Intensive courses allow you to focus your training on
English in general or on a particular skill area. We can
offer intensive training in one of our
training rooms, or at your company. Training plans are
created to meet your needs at time of enquiry.
Our intensive training courses can be under an open or
fixed term arrangement and can be weekly or over one or
more days. Intensive courses are limited to 4 people per
course for specialised English, or 6 people per course
for intensive general or business English. Some examples of our intensive courses
are;
 
English for Telephoning.
A concentrated look at English standard phrases and
methods for telephoning. Intensive practice by roleplay
and when available by "live calling" where the
participant will be expected to make telephone calls to
request and obtain information. Including telephone
technique tricks and advice.
English for Customer Services.
A concentrated look at English standard phrases and
methods for customer services. Intensive practice by
roleplay covering; asking for and giving information,
handling complaints and being polite. Also including
speaking clearly and tricks and advice for improved
customer perception.

English for Email and Letter Writing.
Including discussion about formal and informal approaches.
Practicing letter
and email format and layout, learning how to address
people, starting and ending
letters, structuring content, standard phrase training
and being polite. This course is very
interactive and can include written material by the
student for checking, analysis and improvement.

English for Presentations.
This
course is not only designed to build the English
vocabulary of the student, but also to improve self
confidence. The course includes discussion about giving
presentations, grammar and vocabulary, signposting and
sentence optimisation as well as, audience interaction
and participation, handling questions, preparation and
delivery. This course is very
interactive and the student will be required to create
and give a presentation using the information they have learnt.
